Job Description

Purpose of the position:

A construction site supervisor oversees daily operations on building projects, serving as the critical link between upper management and the workforce. They are responsible for managing laborers, tracking schedules, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality regulations

Major Responsibilities:

1.Safety Compliance:Enforces occupational health and safety (OHS) regulations to eliminate potential hazards.

2 Quality & Progress:.: Inspects ongoing work to ensure it matches blueprints and quality standards.

3.Logistics & Coordination: Organizes staff schedules, directs subcontractors, and manages material orders and deliveries.

4 Problem Solving. Acts as the first point of contact for resolving logistical delays or unexpected site issues.

5.Reporting: Completes daily site reports for upper management or project managers.

6.Financial Management :Control resources utilization of the firm while ensuring value for money


 Essential Skills & Qualification

  • Technical Knowledge: Ability to read specifications and interpret building plans.
  • Leadership: Strong emotional intelligence to motivate workers and coordinate different trade teams smoothly.
  • Organization: The ability to plan ahead and keep a site clean, safe, and tactically structured.
  • Strong Knowledge of achides or auto card software and design is an added advantage.

Adipoma in civil works engineering and or any related training preferred.
